Brittany Murphy died December 20, 2009 at her home in Los Angeles, California. She was 32 years old at the time of her death.

According to reports from TMZ, Murphy's husband made a 911 call in the early hours of the morning. Brittany suffered a massive heart attack; the coronary led to her nearly immediate passing.
